On April 22, 2026 Westbank First Nation held their annual Advisory Council AGM.
WFN Chief and Council honoured West Kelowna Mayor Gord Milsom in a special ceremony to honour the Mayor's continued contributions and allyship to WFN and Indigenous people.
The blanketing ceremony is regarded as a high honour wherein a blanket is placed on a persons shoulders to represent respect, protection, healing, and community support.
